What's been going on in Katie's world...

Wow, time has flown by! Let me see....Now I work on rhapsody.com, a little website that has tons of potential. :) I love it. I've been swamped with juggling work & mommyhood, but at this point, I'm enjoying both tremendously. Interested in what I've been listening to? The "baby" blog has grown quite a bit now, and it's full of pictures of my lil' man.

Steven, Colton and I hope to go on vacation next week. It seems long overdue, but I guess that when you become a mom, you don't get time off.

WHOO HOO!

Vacation! I can't wait. I'll be officially out of touch for the next week, and I am ecstatic about it. Out of cell phone, email, and carrier pigeon range. Hmmm, let me see....What shall I do? Read, sleep, eat, and play with my nephew. Yup! That's pretty much the plan. :)

We're having a boy!

So, we finally got the news. :) A boy it is! All ten fingers & all ten toes have been counted. Now let the naming debate and nursery decorating begin! And, for those who don't know, we'll be expecting him at the end of October.

First Trimester's done!

Well, Steven and I have heard our little baby's heartbeat, and it sounds like the bugger's really busy pumping away. Work's much the same, although I'm getting a new boss soon. I'm quite happy with the new pick. And for other goings on, we're making slow progress on choosing a builder for our home...at times, I wonder whether the house will be finished before our little munchkin has their first day of preschool. Patience is a virtue! :)

Big News

Well, here's the official announcement. Steven and I are now expecting our first munchkin, and we hear that the stork will make a stop at our house in late October. So far, everything's going well...His/her little heart is beating loud and clear.

Pilo Changes

So, tons of things have been going on w/ me recently. I will talk about a few of them. Magellan is starting, and I'm looking for some nifty names for our cvs tree. Steven's started his new job this week, and again, his back's hurtin'.

I started a pump today, the Medtronic MiniMed Paradigm 715. It's a pretty slick little gadget. It's taken some time to adjust to an all short acting insulin regimen, but I'm looking forward to cutting down on my lows and lowering my HBA1C.
